Well, we'll see. Maybe a new generation of kit builders will discover
and love them the way we used to.
Like most people on this list, my mental image of Heathkit is when the
BR-2 AM radio kit was $17.50 (+ $4.50 for cabinet)

But then I realized if you factor in inflation since the 1950's, maybe
the new price wasn't at all out of line.
Indeed $22.00 in 1957 => $186.58 in 2015
Other folks may look at all this quite differently. Time will tell and
I certainly wish the company good luck - because getting people hooked
on building electronics is definitely a very beneficial thing.
