[Boatanchors] DX-40 Fuse

Tnx Glen, 
I was using a 2.5A. It blew a few days ago. Got it on the bench now and am hearing 
what sounds like some arcing...probably the xfmr...a common DX-40 pblm. Will 
be cking some other things tho. Expect the worse..hope for the best...hi.

Since Heath did not provide a fuse in the design, I would add a 3-ampere fuse along with a 3-wire cord. Wire the cord as follows: 


Black wire to the fuse and then to Line RFC L-113 (this is the side of the AC input that goes to the power off / on portion of the mode switch). 


White wire to Line RFC L-112. 


Green wire directly to the chassis.
