I have tons (literally) of modern equipment, but my first love (radio wise!) are the old tube type receivers.
i have a nice R-390A with the CV-591A SSB adapter. Also a 51J-3 with a solid state adapter that works very well.

I have just acquired an RME 4350A. Why? Because a few years I purchased a mint RME VHF-126 converter. This is the one that looks identical to the 4350. It's curved dial just doesn't look 'right' when next to my RME 6900.......Different size too.

So, just looking for advice about what you guys might have used. I've already been told to get a Central Electronics Sideband Slicer..
Of course, I'd love to find both the RME SSB adapter and the matching speaker......
I spoke with Treetop Circuits and they said their universal adapter 'might' work, but they have never tried it.....

thank you

ron
