[Boatanchors] Tower erection

How the base is set depends on the type of tower. Rohn made the BX series
of towers that had stubs for mounting in concrete but other were different.
They sold a 4 ft. base section for the 25 series to be set in concrete.

The last time I looked at the Rohn site I could not find any recommendation
as how to do a base. If you know the model of the tower some of the older
Rohn manuals tells how to erect them including how to do the base. I have
an older manual here that covers the 25G, 45, 55, BX series, and maybe
others, I forget.

That height sounds like one that will suggest 3 sq. ft. of antenna but,
without the model number it is hard to say. Do some searching before
installing. It is much more involved than most hams know.
