[Boatanchors] OT - Question about plexiglass

If you carefully place two pieces of plexi-glass together dry and then 
inject acetone into the small gap with a hypodermic you will get a far 
better looking result.  Ask a diabetic friend for one of his/her used 
disposable syringes.  My boss used to use tetra-hydra-furene that way 
but that stuff is -nasty-.  If you use the hot wire method of bending 
plexi-glass you won't need so many joins and will end up with nice 
rounded corners.  You can also bend plexi-glass by heating it in an oil 
bath but -don't- try that with Lexan, it will become -very- brittle.
