Could anyone please assist me in identifying this piece of equipment:

Photocan Research Product DG-101, manufactured by Dyna-Gage, Pasadena, CA

It appears to be some sort of frequency generator.  It has the large National dial that is used on the HRO receivers, controls and a very large meter.

It utilizes a cast aluminum construction – very heavy unit, measuring about 10 inches square approximately.
