[Boatanchors] Metalized Polyethylene Film

Right now I don't what I need, if anything. I assumed poly film would
not work. All I know is that my Invader has no output. Voltages and
drive are OK and the finals show the correct no drive plate current.
Where the problem lies I don't know. It will be a couple more days
before I can start trouble shooting. I will put my antenna analyzer on
the output connect to see if the loading circuit is functional.

If it's a switched loading cap, then it must handle relatively high current because of the 50 Ohm environment. Disk ceramics don't typically handle high current whereas transmit micas do. What value/s do you need? What is the current capacity of the metal poly?

There are two possible outcomes: if the result confirms the hypothesis, then you've made a measurement.
If the result is contrary to the hypothesis, then you've made a discovery.
