I too hate facebook. But let me point out that if our hobbies such as BA gear, milsurplus gear, teletypes, etc are to ever stretch to the next generation, you may not want to bury it deep in the bowels of "older" technology, which we all agree works fine for all us old geezers.

Should the group seek a volunteer to set up a Facebook account that would point interested folks toward our reflectors? Or is there a way to add us as a resource at existing FB accounts (if there are any)?

I volunteer at a WWI aviation museum. Recently made acquaintance with a young man (high school age) who was restoring a command car's RX & TX to operation and display appearance. I later found out he's restoring some even older radio sets! So, yeah, maybe there're some young folks out there who'd be interested in our hobbies.
