[Boatanchors] FOR SALE

Hi,

Just to emphasize how different we all are one from another - I do not
care for digest mode and I do get 200 to 500 message per day. My mail
client sorts them into folders and keeps order for me. I get to peruse
the "headlines" and immediately read the messages of greatest interest
and then go back and look at the others. A few every day are
advertisements (besides the occasional "for sale" posts here) and those
get deleted quickly. Most of my email lists are ham related (with a
couple for military veterans or other real people). Real people have a
wide variety of interests and most of them have something of interest to
say.

I would not be annoyed if the volume doubled but I do understand how it
can get in the way of others.

73,

Bill KU8H

That way, I receive only one or two messages per list each day in my in-box, each one a compilation of a day's worth of postings. The only list I don't receive in digest mode is one that is sparsely active, so I use regular mode in order not to wait several days to receive a message when that may be the only one posted during that period. If I subscribed to all my lists in regular mode, I would have 50 to 100 postings in my box some days.
