If you are having a full-mailbox problem, you should change your subscription to Digest Mode.  I subscribe to several lists, and receive all but one in digest form.  That way, I receive only one or two messages per list each day  in my in-box, each one a compilation of a day's worth of postings.  The only list I don't receive in digest mode is one that is sparsely active, so I use regular mode in order not to wait several days to receive a message when that may be the only one posted during that period.  If I subscribed to all my lists in regular mode, I would have 50 to 100 postings in my box some days.
