[Boatanchors] Cell Phones

List,

I did own the old "Bag Phone" at one time. I only used it when I was
running late to let the XYL know I was taking the ferry and the back way
home. The traffic in the Metropolitan Washington, D.C. area isn't too
far behind California! It is a nightmare.

Their current solution? High Occupancy Toll Lanes! We have large
numbers that drive from as far as West Virginia to work in the District.

I guess I'm a rarity?

I can drive from Virginia all the way down to Georgia.

Yet I never have an issue with dropouts nor having a problem with
understanding what is being said.

I had the dropout issue, including the cellphone Blackhole from Hades
back in 2002 through 2004 when I had Sprint and the Motorola Push to
Talk ability. It started just on the Southern part of Virginia, and
carried well into North Carolina.

I'm with AT&T now, and haven't had one lick of trouble since they took
over Cingular.

I'm also highly content with my Galaxy S5.

Regards, Bob - N0DGN
