[Boatanchors] [Heathkit:Yahoo] Long Threaded Shafts

There used to be extenders, originally intended for extra isolation of HV pots, that might do if one can be found, or may provide inspiration to construct something similar. In the old Handbooks, Millen had a couple devices with part numbers 39023 and M023. It'd be easy to make an extension of the threaded part but making a shaft extension to go inside that will stay linked to the shorter pot shaft is the tricky bit.

Perhaps an extension shaft can be fabricated.

a current pot to the required 9/16 length needed to get through the chassis,
panel, etc?
