[Boatanchors] (no subject)

The word  that all of you have been hunting for is "nostalgia" defined as 
"pleasure and sadness that is caused by remembering something from the past 
and wishing that you could experience it again."

Synonymous with this word is the word "boatanchors."  Gazing over all the 
radios that I have collected for over 40 years, is to remember the past very 
much like thumbing through the  family album.

The following two lyrics by Barbra Streisand, to me, best describes why we 
love our boatanchors.
