     Same here.  I also did a test on a phenolic terminal 
strip with a General Radio megohm meter to test for leakage 
after using Deoxit. It had no effect whatever. Some claim 
that Deoxit can cause phenolics to swell. I have never 
observed this but its possible depending on the sort of 
filler used.  In general Deoxit seems to be quite effective. 
They claim a second treatment with Deoxit Gold will protect 
the contacts from further oxidation for a considerable time. 
I've tried this but can't confirm it. I have used Tuner Lub 
as a long term Protestant. Tuner Lub, as far as I can find 
out, is plain petroleum jelly with a small amount of 
anti-oxidant in it. I apply this stuff with a toothpick only 
to the metal parts of a switch.
