[Boatanchors] Clock Knob and Long Shaft

Unless YOUR Hammarlund receiver has an opening top case, you WILL have to have that phenolic or metal shaft to adjust the clock! It certainly is true for HQ-100, HQ-110, and HQ-145 receivers (only ones I have/had).
