[Boatanchors] Clock Knob and Long Shaft

I don't know which model you are referring to.

The HQ-170 with the clock did *not* have a shaft that came out the 
back.  It came that way from the factory.

If there is a "long" shaft, I would begin to think that someone added a bit.
