Ian,

The 606B is an excellent BA signal generator.  I got mine for $45 at a 
ham fest about 5 years ago.  It worked FB until a couple of months ago.  
I don't worry about the dial calibration as I connect the uncalibrated 
output to a frequency counter.  As I remember it's about 200 mV.

I know I had to pay more for the synchronizer than the SG.  Besides the 
purchase price, I had to pay shipping from St. Louis.
