I don't believe Dave suggested anything like "a cure for all of them", but perhaps I misunderstood his experimental goals.

It's not for me to judge.  It's something that only each individual can assess about himself and his self perception of reality as he sees it.  
Sometimes it leads to enlightenment, sometimes entrenchment.  Either way, it's none of my business.

Aha!  The first sign of dire predictive failure! :-)   You'll notice I'm 
not suggesting eventual vindication by either side.  I simply don't have a hypothesis dog in the fight.  For those of you who do, God Bless, keep it clean.
