Many of the "big box electronics" stores like Frys carry small
transformers designed to boost 110 VAC to 220 VAC so
European visitors can run their gadgets.  Often called
"International Travel Voltage Converters" or some such.
They also have them for the reverse.
Some are less expensive and some are small.
