Hi John,
You might shop for a dual primary filament transformer (small) that is
built with two, separate primaries for use in either 110 or 220 volt
(okay they are higher now) systems. Use one as primary and the other as
secondary with a voltage doubling rectifier. If you go shopping you can
probably find a new one without too much expense that will give you
exactly what you want. Mouser has them listed by the thousands.
