About 75 pounds, heavy but not as poorly balanced as a lot of vintage gear. With the Valiant never position it upside down with the front panel supporting much of the weight because that will break the VFO shaft coupler.

The Johnson 500 modulator/power supply is one of the most awkward Johnson items. It weighs 110 pounds and includes handy lift/carry handles on the sides HOWEVER it is top heavy and will immediately try to flip over when you lift by those handles.

The 120 pound Johnson Thunderbolt amp (pair of 4-400A) is also a very heavy and awkward piece to move around. It, my Hallicrafters HT-33, and the homebrew power supply that came with my Heathkit KL-1 "Chippewa" amp are the three worst items to move in my collection of gear. That homebrew power supply was built to produce up to 3500 volts at 1 amp CCS and although it has SS rectifiers it is choke input and has a 240 volt 20 amp Variac for controlling the HV transformer. I have never weighed it but I am fairly confident it is in the 200 pound range. By comparison my Desk KW is heavy but the "guts" slide out for easy servicing and my BC-610 is on a caster base so it is also easy to service.
