[Boatanchors] Knight TR-108 question

A 2E26 tube will do 8 - 12 watts out on CW but should not be run at that level for AM or it will distort and produce a nasty signal. Remember that it has to be capable of reproducing modulation peaks that are four times the resting power level. So 3 or 4 watts is about right. You have a great 6m AM radio there and you should have no difficulty making contacts on it with other enthusiasts.

I love 6m AM and want to eventually get a net going again in the Orlando area like we used to have on Sundays on 50.400 Mc.
