[Boatanchors] Knight TR-108 question

I only get about 8-watts out of my TR-106 which is the 6-meter version.

The Gonset Communicator I and Communicator II only got about 4-watts out of the 2E26 in them.  There were a number of articles in various amateur radio magazines about modifying those units for more power output.  The 2-meter Communicator III was a little better, but not that much.

The Communicator IV uses a 6360 in the final and my Communicator IV makes just under 15-watts output.

Good morning,
I have a friend with two of these, and we've been trying to figure out why
the rigs only put out about 3 watts. The output power isn't stated in the
manual.

Anyone have one of these? Are you getting 3 watts out, or more?

Seems like a 2E26 should do more like about 10 watts or so.

Thanks for any input you can offer.
