There is something that we can so about it, we can join the nearest
"all around" HAM club and invite every local that we meet on the air to
attend a meeting and we can great the new visitors and encourage them to
join the club and participate in field-day and other club activities. It
is a route to their education.

Old timers need to check into all local (including two and six meter)
nets to interact with the newbies to help and mention the local HAM
club/s as being a source if HAM information.

Encourage the reading of the HAM bible.
