That's good info. If it fit the pins of standard available plugs, a 3D printer design could have been put together using those type pins and the plug body as a starter for making a longer plug body. It was curious to me that the HX-500 user manual had not a single word to say about plugs or pins that should be used with the "external socket". Are we sure that there ever was such a plug????

Yes, I searched all thru my large stash of edebris, couldn't find
anything with a pin that would fit. (That was several yrs ago)
The 3D copier idea might work, if anyone had a plug to start with.
I could find no ID on the outside, don't remember if I examine inside.
I have fabricated smaller plugs using the proper sized wire or flat
stock for pins, and epoxy for a shell. Not easy, and doesn't give any
easy movement for the pins to align themselves when inserted to the socket.
