[Boatanchors] Oscilloscope (buy/repair) Recommendations

I was given a very nice Tektronics 475A scope with the built-in 
DMM. It worked generally, but had a focus problem and a stuck 
control. I was told that Bob Garcia, KD4JRT, was an excellent 
Tektronix technician who worked on and sold these products. He 
repaired my '475A for an incredibly reasonable price and it has 
worked flawlessly since 2010.

I highly recommend contacting Bob and inquiring about any 
refurbished units he may have available, or if you purchase a scope 
that needs repairs.
