[Boatanchors] Oscilloscope Recommendations

I use a 'scope a great deal, mostly because things never work as I expect
them
to. This applies both to SS and tube circuits.
After struggling with a 30MHz scope I eventually saved up enough pennies to
get a refurbished Tek 7xxx (7404 maybe?) from a local ham. This has about
200MHz BW. Even though I rarely do much above say 30MHz, the difference
in seeing what is and isn't happening is like night and day. I had to get
the HV
unit replaced; fortunately the ham who sold it to me doesn't live far away,
and
had a donor unit. There is no way I could repair anything in this treasure
other
than by replacement. eBay is a good source of plugins.
