[Boatanchors] Oscilloscope Recommendations

If you operate AM you should absolutely have a scope dedicated to an
RF tap off your transmit carrier.  So, now you need two of them hi hi.

I never transmit phone without an oscilloscope.  When bringing any old
rig, either phone or CW into operation, an oscilloscope is a must for
shaping the keying envelope or looking at the carrier to make sure it
is clean and absent of hum etc.
