[Boatanchors] Resistor Size

I just received a a parts order from Mouser with a number of 2W 
resistors I needed.  I normally order Xicon metal oxide but one size 
came as Vishnay metal film.  These resistors are bout the size of a 14/W 
carbon comp.  I just wonder how they could have a 2W rating for a 
resistor that small.  The WV rating on them is 350V so I guess it's OK 
to use them.  But they surely look small.  I will have to recheck my 
order to see if that is what I ordered or if Mouser substituted.
