Ian:
These are neat receivers and well worth the effort to restore.
1. There is a cap (usually a notoriously bad Micamold) hiding in the RF Oscillator box;
2. If I remember correctly, there's also one (usually a Micamold) hiding in the BFO box;
3. There an audio cap buried behind the front panel, right in front of the audio output tube;
4. There are several (usually Micamolds) buried in each of the RF boxes attached to the bottom of the chassis. You have to do a fair amount of disassembly to remove these boxes to get to the caps inside but these caps are almost guaranteed to be leaky and replacing them definitely improves performance;
5. There are several caps in the three IF boxes; and
6. The square multi-cap cans on the back of the RF tube shelf can be a challenge. I have attached a video showing one fellow's solution. I've also used small mylar caps and heat-shrink tubing.
Here are two videos pertaining to recapping a BC-342. I found these tapes very helpful before I tackled one of these beasts for the first time.

Here's another tape showing how one fellow dealt with those square multi-cap cans on the back of the RF tube shelf:
