[Boatanchors] newbie question

This is once again simply opinion driven.

A simple soldering pencil and a hand vacuum solder tool that one cocks
and presses the release button is all that is needed.

A compound crimping tool is not needed, since there is NO requirement
for gas tight connections in the applied terminals in a tube type radio.

I have only used a compound crimper when making RS-232 connectors.

Haven't found one in a hollow state radio yet.
