[Boatanchors] newbie question

The only tool for connectors that have exceeded the $100 mark were those 
use while working for an employer - and they purchased them.

A Burndy Hypress is NOT what Boatanchorites would need anytime that I 
know of.

Soldering stations are not mandatory, Coax crimping tools are nowhere a 
requirement to repair and operate these old radios.

Crimp on terminals can be done with far less expensive tools, even when 
obtaining one from Thomas & Betts.

That leaves a lot of crimp on terminals that can be obtained.

Everyone has their own opinions and methods.  No single view rules the 
roost.
