[Boatanchors] newbie question

On tool prices, here are the expensive tools I've had to buy:

A Pace solder sucker
Connector crimp tools from Winchester, AMP, and Daniels
Terminal lug crimping tools
Coax crimping tools

There are just some connectors, especially military, where you have no
choice but to buy the tools for >$100.
