[Boatanchors] BC-342 front panel removal

Success!!!!! I applied some very light oil to the pin and let it
soak in for a while.
Then I found a carriage bolt that had a concave end, applied
this to the narrow end of the pin, and tapped with a hammer. This
drove the pin to being flush with the gear shaft.
I then used a spring-loaded center punch. This worked like a charm
and zinged the pin out very cleanly.
The only thing holding the front panel on now is various wires.
Thank you all, particularly Bill who sent me a highly useful set of
pictures; I will make good use of these during reconstruction!
