I agree entirely.
When looking at Richard's reference to the R-390A Depot Level TM, one
would most likely ask - "Which type are you referring to?" Why? This is
easy in my mind. 1) they aren't in color. 2) When you look at a
component, does it have a label as to "which" type it is?
I'd have to answer no.
Those charts are for a *BUNCH* of "types. The color codes are NOT the
same for different types.
I only put out the charts for the use of folks working with
"Boatanchors" in general.
Just as soon as ANYONE makes sense of the "mess" in the old military
TMs, I'd like to see ONE cohesive chart!
While I too have Military equipment, I also have Hallicrafters and
others that follow the RMA/EIA markings.
So we get left in a "wonderland" as to which ones are appropriate for
"what".
