[Boatanchors] Fungecide for WW2 radios

The only thing I've found that works at all is gel type paint stripper. It takes several applications over a period of a couple of days. One would think there would be a solvent that would take the stuff right off but nothing I've tried will do it. I've tried naphtha, pure isopropanol, xylol, acetone, ethyl acetate, maybe some other stuff I can't remember. I don't remember what is in the paint stripper, probably some combination of solvents. It works very slowly but does eventually take the stuff off.
