Much easier to reverse the battery connections and repolarize the generator
and voltage regulator to negative ground. 
All you have to do is flash each in proper polarity. Then reverse the
ignition coil connections and you are done. You now have a negative ground
system. All assuming that you don't have a broadcast band radio in the truck
that is positive ground.
