[Boatanchors] National HRO-500

All,

   I have just acquire a National HRO-500.  It has a few
issues but seems to receive well on most bands.  

   It needs a good cleaning especially on the trim areas or
other non-painted services.   Does anyone have a
recommendation for a good cleaning agent to safely take the
tarnish off ?
