[Boatanchors] WTB Step Up Transformer 1:2 Ratio

I live in a 240VAC country and don't generally worry too
much about appliances designed for the 220-240VAC
world. I think we've had only a few minor power related
issues, a few external power supplies have died. None
of the appliances have died.

We had a period of time where the phase to neutral
voltages at the house went up to as high as 257VAC
and I was popping light bulbs far more frequently than
normal, especially the 230V bulbs. I had to make sure
the new bulbs were 240V versions and after a few
weeks of this, the power ministry got the voltage issue
under control and we are back down to a nominal
240VAC phase to neutral.

Thought I was going to wear out the step ladder!
