My inner Luddite is stirring......

One of these days..... Human Nature will "win" again.
Some pilot is going to be complacent- maybe even cat-napping-
relying on that fancy GPS landing system which "never fails."
Some microns-thick, nano-wide layer of silicon is going to short
and about 200 people will be rapidly converted to cat food.

Just because we *can* replace a human brain with technology-
does that mean it is always wise to do so?
How many more lives need be sacrificed to
the twin, blood-thirsty gods, Efficiency and Productivity?
At what point does squeezing-out one more drop of 
productivity also squeeze-out the Human soul?
Shall we hire GPS-guided robots to climb our mountains for us?
We could watch in 3D HD video between reruns of "Family Guy."
