Hi Jim,
I may have been mistaken. This is what I get for weighing in without
doing some fact checking. Wikipedia says JB Weld can be used inside
microwave ovens. A FAQ on the JB Weld website says it does not
conduct electricity. So I guess it is okay. That means we have a few
options for glue.
I repaired a broken ceramic shaft insulator with JB Weld back before I
heard it was supposedly metallic and now I guess I can use it without
worry.
