Hi All,

I am going to be the primary NCS for a Hallicrafters Special
Event on Saturday December 8, 2012. That is the day in 1898
that William Halligan, Sr. was born. So on December 8, 2012
we will be celebrating the 112th birthday of our vintage
radio hero. Join us!

If any of you would be willing to also be a NCS, please
contact me ASAP! Depending on how many volunteer for this
duty will determine how each of our time in the beloved HHI
NCS chair works out.

This will also be my last day as the Sunday 20 meter NCS. I
am stepping down after fourteen+ years. It is time "ONE OF
YOU" takes over! I am not passing the torch, rather a very
hot 25Z6 rectifier tube!

I am going to continue on as the Saturday 40 meter NCS for a
year or so. When I do fade into oblivion, N8AZC, Mike Lopez,
in central Ohio will assume my NCS duties. Mike is already my
backup NCS -

I will continue to check into the Sunday 20 meter Net. I do
not intend to vanish myself! Professional
Magician/Illusionist or not, I do not intend to vanish
myself!

Mark the date of Saturday December 8Th. on your calendar! We
will be using our Club call of "W9WZE"! It sure would be
fantastic if one of you would design a special QSL card, or
certificate, for this Special Event! Any volunteers?
