For those that really need them, there is another listing on ebay: item
# 300580082808

These are more pricey than the last listing -- $25 shipped for 4 -- but
if one needed them to complete a project . . .

As before, I have no connection with the listing.

A Google search turned up something about how Rack Release was seeking
new Asian suppliers. Hopefully, this is a sign that they will be
available in quantity for reasonable prices again soon.

If one were using these mainly to mount equipment without an assistant,
one could always use some to mount the gear and then immediately change
them out to regular screws one at a time. Of course, this would not be
as useful if one had to install and uninstall the same item repeatedly
for service, etc.
