I getting back on the topic of radios, I'm going back to finalizing MY 
BC-610 by obtaining a JB-70 Junction box.  It allows the BC-610 to 
operate in PTT mode without hacking the equipment.

Ah, the pleasure of bringing old boat anchors back to full and fruitful
