[Boatanchors] Ridiculous Bid on the Bay

I'm not knocking "parting out". It just seems strange to me the price
pieces bring. One of my Lugers has mixed serial numbers which means it
has little collector's value. Yet a nearly identical Luger barrel and
slide to mine will sell on eBay for over $1200 which is probably 3X to
4X the value of my complete gun. If these prices are a guide, I
probably could get $2000 selling parts, not including the frame.
