John,
A new, properly wired, 20 Amp residential circuit might handle that amp butin all likelihood a 30 Amp circuit would give you some safety. Use of a Hubbletwist lock 30A plug & receptacle would fit that environment and free you upto run 10 guage between it and your amp.
Not to start a thread here, but the problem with drawing full current on anold circuit is the heat generated at the mechanical connections on the far endof the circuit, viz. where you plug the amp in.
Given a true love for the HT33A or B, there are fans who have moved thepower supply to a 220V dog-house unit and solved that problem once andfor all :-) ...
