Yes, the length will have to be factored such that at your lowest
frequency you have calculated (hopefully proves accurate) about 15 db of
forward loss. I have used cables with only 10db of loss in a pinch but
that is not the best practice.
You can find the specified loss at various frequencies in the
manufacturer's spec sheets. Most Mil spec cables have similiar losses
from most manufacturers. There are some import cables which are
questionable.
