[Boatanchors] Viking Ranger 1 - site for manual

There was no "Ranger I"!  The original Ranger transmitters started being called "Ranger I" when the Ranger II came out.

There was a fairly major modification made between the early Ranger and later Ranger transmitters.  That was a circuit to improve the keying.  Johnson had a field modification kit to add this to the earlier transmitters.

Thanks for all the inputs....is there an obvious way to determine if I
have a Ranger or Ranger 1? I was not aware there were two models before
the Ranger II..
