Hi John,

There are two manuals for the S76 on BAMA. One is a scan of the
Hallicrafters manual and the other is a scan of of the Sam's for that
radio. Neither one shows an antenna trimmer and neither one mentions any
modification or factory option.

Maybe somebody else will have more helpful information. If you don't get
any info (maybe it's a one-shot deal) it shouldn't be too hard to figure
out what size cap to install and where/how to connect it. If it was a
one shot and it didn't work well that may be why there is only a hole
there.
