Well, maybe I'll find a $200 beauty at Nearfest. Its a radio Ive always wanted but wasnt about to spend big bucks for mediocre performance. I found that out when they were new and tried one.

  Not really. In that condition is was probably a $350 radio, tops. A collector in VT is currently selling one for $450 in excellent condition with the manual. The 90/91 receivers are far more show than go. Very well made but pretty average performance.  Check out Jay's performance results on his page:

  Like so many other sets, the prices got jacked up a bit during the ebay feeding frenzy of a decade ago. They've settled back to levels that IMO more accurately reflect their performance. Ebay of all places displays this well. If it was going to get a high price anywhere, ebay would be it.
